Easter Day 2022.png

During the Spring Holiday, Easter/Resurrection Sunday, we host our A Maze In Me event. This event was inspired by some of the students we observed who had issues with others based on skin color or social status but were actually quite similar. We also observed how students would gravitate to and follow other students because of their social status and skin color. A Maze In Me is a "personality hunt" where we have "guess who" type questions and participants have to put clues together in order to figure out who each person is. The lesson is that a lot of students who thought they were enemies found they have more in common then who they thought their friends were which led to reconciliations between students. For younger students we hosted an Easter Egg with candy and some eggs even had money. We gave out over $300 in prizes between both events.
